maintenance
- We are using R-22 as the coolant. Can you supply the parts?
Currently, in accordance with the Montreal Protocol, each manufacturer that handles refrigerant parts is changing models from time to time, and the production of parts for R-22 has been discontinued, so it is not possible to supply them.
- Please tell me how to switch between constant type and follow-up type control.
ON-OFF control method (ML series, KTV series)
The switching operation should be performed by a qualified person such as the person in charge of maintenance and inspection or the person in charge of service of the manufacturer.
Switching between follow-up type and constant type is possible only for the same control method. (Example: 0⇔1)
(1) Turn on the power. Displays the current liquid temperature.
(2) Press the [UP] or [DOWN] key while simultaneously pressing the [PARA] and [ENT] keys on the operation panel to make changes.
(3) Release the [PARA] and [ENT] keys to complete the setting change.
Applicable type Controller model Numeric value in the DATA display MLCC series, ML series 03, 05, 07
(cooling only)DS2-F10 follow-up type 0 DS2-C45 definite One MLCC series, ML series 03, 05, 07
(with cooling + heater)DS3-F10H follow-up type 0 DS3-C45H definite One ML series 11,15,22,38
(cooling + solenoid valve control)DS3-F10CM follow-up type 2 DS3-C45CM definite 3 ML series 11,15,22,38
(with cooling + solenoid valve control + heater)DS3-F10CMH follow-up type 2 DS3-C45CMH definite 3 MLCC series, KTVM series
(cooling + solenoid valve control)DS3-F10VM follow-up type 2 DS3-C45VM definite 3 MP series, KTVM series
(with cooling + solenoid valve control + heater)DS3-F10VMH follow-up type 2 DS3-C45VMH definite 3 There is no particular problem even if the room temperature (reference) temperature detection sensor is connected when changing from the follow-up type to the constant type by switching the control method. A separate room temperature (reference) temperature detection sensor is required when changing from a constant type to a follow-up type.
Since the control method (constant type and follow-up type) can be changed by operating the keys on the operation panel, the model of the controller may differ from the description in the specifications.
(The current control method is constant if [C] appears on the [PARA] key display when the [PARA] key on the operation panel is pressed, and follow-up if [A] appears.)
Please refer to the instruction manual for details.
Inverter control, gas bypass PID control method (C/V/CL/W series)
(1) Press the [ENT] key for 2 seconds. (Migration)
(2) The rightmost segment is blinking, so use the [UP] [DOWN] keys to change the value.
③Press the [ENT] key for 2 seconds, and when the liquid temperature is displayed, the process is finished. (update)
- How to switch from the reference temperature follow-up type to the room temperature follow- up type Stop the operation and turn off the power.
Turn on DIP switch number 4 on the control board. By turning on the power and operating, it can be switched to the room temperature follow-up type. As a result, an alarm will not occur even if the reference temperature tracking sensor is removed from the terminal block. - How to switch from the room temperature follow-up type to the reference temperature follow- up type Stop the operation and turn off the power.
Turn OFF DIP switch number 4 on the control board. Attach the reference temperature tracking sensor to the terminal block. By turning on the power and operating, it can be switched to reference temperature tracking. - The standard specification does not include a reference temperature sensor.
- Where do you need regular cleaning?
We recommend cleaning the air filter once a week so that you can use it for a long time.
Also, if you are using a “water-cooled” Oilmatic/Purematic, depending on the quality of the water, scales may build up inside the water-cooled condenser, resulting in reduced cooling capacity and compressor failure. . Regularly manage and wash the water quality.
For details, refer to “General Precautions” in the catalog and the instruction manual.
The catalog can be viewed from Catalog Download .
- Do Oilmatic/Purematic require inspection based on the Freon Emissions Control Law?
Is required.
Products such as Oilmatic and Purematic manufactured by our company are designated as Class 1 Specified Products based on the Fluorocarbons Emissions Control Law, so it is stipulated that a “simple inspection” be carried out.
*Of the “Type 1 specified products”, “equipment over a certain scale” is obligated to undergo “regular inspection” by engineers handling refrigerant fluorocarbons. “Equipment above a certain scale” refers to equipment with a rated output of 7.5kw or more for the motor used in the compressor of the equipment. Some of our products are applicable to special models, so please contact us if you have any questions.
- Simple inspection method and frequency
Please check based on the “Instruction Manual” attached to products such as Oilmatic and Purematic.
Examples of basic inspection items include:
- Presence or absence of dirt on the condenser (for air-cooled type)
- Presence of hot air from the exhaust port (for air-cooled type)
- Check the quality of water supplied to the condenser (for water-cooled type)
- Abnormal sound
is required to be conducted at least “four times a year (every quarter)”.
* Inspections must be recorded (the date of the simple inspection, whether there are any abnormalities, and who inspected it) and must be stored (until the product such as OILMATIC is disposed of) (storage in electronic media). is also possible).
*The records of simple inspections do not need to be submitted or reported, provided that they are promptly disclosed upon request from the prefectural governor of the place of installation.
For details, please see the special page ” Company’s Efforts for Fluorocarbon Emission Control Law “.
- What should I pay attention to when installing Oilmatic/Purematic?
Oilmatic/Purematic are not suitable for environments with a lot of mist, coolant liquid, water droplets, etc. In addition, there are conditions that should be kept in mind to maximize their performance.
For details, please refer to Section 1 “For Safety” and Section 2 “General Precautions” in the “Instruction Manual” attached to the Oilmatic/Purematic.
- I would like to request an overhaul of the Oilmatic/Purematic.
Although it is possible, there are things that cannot be handled depending on the number of years of operation and the situation.
Please contact us through the place of purchase, or contact us here if you have any questions .
When contacting us, please let us know the “MFG No. (manufacturing number)”.
- Is it possible to purchase Oilmatic/Purematic parts?
Is possible. (Some discontinued products may not be available.)
Please contact us through the place of purchase, or contact us here if you have any questions .
When contacting us, please let us know the “MFG No. (manufacturing number)”.
Disposal of Oilmatic/Purematic
- I would like to dispose of my old Oilmatic/Purematic.
OILMATIC/PUREMATIC uses Freon gas as a refrigerant and is designated as a “Class 1 Specified Product” under the Fluorocarbons Emissions Control Law.
When disposing of Oilmatic/Purematic, be sure to contact the place of purchase or outsource the collection of fluorocarbons to a prefecturally registered class 1 fluorocarbon recovery company. If you intentionally release fluorocarbons, which are used as refrigerants in specific products, you will be punished by imprisonment with work for not more than one year or a fine of not more than 500,000 yen because it falls under the legally prohibited release of fluorocarbons. . If you have any questions, please contact us.
About export control
- I would like to use Oilmatic/Purematic overseas. Are there any export control issues?
